About

Little Prince is now open at 199 Prince Street in SoHo (between Sullivan St. and MacDougal St.) This new destination, by Chef Paul Denamiel of Le Rivage, aims to be a cozy neighborhood stand-by.

Featuring classic French bistro items, Paul’s menu includes Tartare de Boeuf, Moules Marinieres and Steak au Poivre, in addition to lighter fare such as Seared Dorade Provencale Style, Ratatouille and Israeli Cous Cous a la Grecque. Signature specials include an “off-menu” French Onion Soup Burger with caramelized onions and gruyere. For dessert, Chef Paul has teamed up with his dear friend (and mentor at Le Cirque) Jacques Torres to offer a special chocolate-chip cookie served with rum-infused milk.

Little Prince will also feature a frequently rotating beer program, highlighting unique French and local beers and seasonal French cocktails. Furthermore, Chris Cannon will be consulting with Paul on the wine program.

Dramatic floral arrangements accent the light-filled space, which has floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on bustling Prince Street. Caramel banquettes line the walls and the wooden bar is warmly lit by classic globe pendant lamps. Hand-painted ceramic floor tiles complete the bistro ambience.

Dinner service will launch the week of April 7th, with weekday breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch service to come in the following month.
